April Phatfiber Sample Preview

Here is just a taste of our Easter Egg Hunt handspun that were samples in the April Phatfiber Sampler Box.

The theme is green and very earth friendly on this hand spun. Softly spun from hand dyed recycled wool and silk rounded up from other projects. We also used "Peeps" yellow merino silk cloud from Natchwoolie in the mix which was dyed with natural plant dyes. It was then corespun with Heaven Sent, a 70% mohair 30% wool blend from Natchwoolie here at etsy and topped off with a gorgeous green binder.

Colors include bright hues of pink, purple, green, turquoise, yellow and white. The colors reminded me of Easter Eggs and the corespinning makes it a bit of a hunt. The binder represents brand new sprouting grass.

Bulky weight 60% Wool, 35% Mohair, 5% Silk Hand wash.

Am I ever behind

Ok, ok I will get to posting, so much to do, so little time. I am getting ready for the Spring Sales and knitting and spinning frantically. I thought I had a little down time, but just found out about a few new shows so here we go again. I have lots more to get listed in the store so I need to get going and get it done
